Since your weight lends the centre of the tyre a degree of traction, it makes sense to avoid tread in that region. However, the circumferential grooves add flex that aids conformation to the shape of the trail, while the tread at the edges delivers grip in all weathers, sufficient for hardpack surfaces, without slowing you down.
Tubeless ready, with light, inbuilt puncture resistance and the option to boost this capability with nylon-enhanced SG2 puncture protection, to maintain your tyre pressure between rides and guard against slashes and flats on rougher terrain, this high volume, 650b tyre will boost your confidence and comfort as you broaden your road cycling experience.
