Rotor's updated 2017 road range includes a broader range of Qarbon chainrings, the innovative one-piece Spidering and a modified 2INpower Aero crankset
Rotor's engineers have been busy this year with the launch of 2INpower, the UNO groupset and most recently the Hawk MTB crankset. Now the Spanish brand is adding to its road range to give more Qarbon chainring options, a clever new one-piece Spidering double chainring for gravel riding and an aerodynamic advantage for 2INpower.
More Qarbon chainrings
Q-Ring Qarbon was launched last year for five-bolt 110BCD crankets and now Rotor has added Shimano four-bolt options and a noQ version, giving users of the Japanese giant's cranks and round-ring riders the performance advantages of the design.
At 8% lighter and 20% stiffer than Rotor's regular high-performance rings, Qarbon chainrings are made from machined aluminium that's reinforced by a high-modulus 3k carbon plate.
Qarbon Shimano has been designed to fit the Japanese brand's ubiquitous four-bolt cranksets and offers three OCP options for fine-tuning your riding experience. Available in 50, 52 and 53t rings, they weigh just 129g and also accept the brand's existing chainring bolt covers.
Designed for those still sporting round rings, Qarbon noQ is the ultimate outer chainring for 110BCD cranksets. Like the Shimano and Q-Rings versions, noQ comes in 50, 52 and 53t options while weight is kept down to a paltry 132g.
Designed for gravel riding and racing, Rotor's new noQ Spidering gives a double 46/30t chainring combination in a one-piece, direct-mount package for the brand's 3D+, 3D30 and Flow cranks (as well as INpower variants). The innovative design gets away from interference issues between the 30t and the frame, offering rare gear range in a stiff package and weighs an incredible 144g for the set.
2INpower Aero takes Rotor's newest, most advanced power meter technology and adds the brand's proven Micro Adjust Spider, which offers a closed design to reduce drag along with additional OCP options for the most exact Q-Rings set-up.
The remainder of the power meter's functions remain the same including true left-right balance, USB charging and full Q-Ring compatibility. Read more about 2INpower's full features and spec.
